Millionaire

A millionaire. Not just a millionaire but a Multi-millionaire. What will I do with the new found wealth? My expectations are not too high, but here few things I would do:

1. My boss shall get a “go-fly-kite” letter from me. No need to work anymore!

2. I’ll zoom down the street of Bangsar with my Lamborghini Diablo.

3. Get myself BIGGER. In terms of upper body muscles. Full time personal trainer will do the job.

4. Have kids everywhere. Err.. I meant adopted kids from Namibia, Cambodia and Sri Lanka ;)

5. Become a serious PLAYER. Golf player.

6. Buy a mansion facing the sea.

7. Go for many many HAM SAP (salty & wet) excursions. Diving in the ocean.

Being a millionaire is not a dream….. in fact I’m one today! But have to hold on to the wish list above, cause a millionaire in Indonesia only allows me a budget vacation.

Well, I’m counting my blessings and shall continue to dream on…

Is she the best for ME?

The two ladies sat in front of me. To my right is Su Lan. To the left is Vgin. I've been with Su Lan for almost 2 years now. I met Vgin 2 months ago. I know i have to make a choice. This is my future.

In the 2 years i spent with Su Lan, one hand is adequate to keep track of the happy memories we had have. I know i will never be happy with Su Lan if i continue this relationship. I'm not madly in love with Vgin either but she offers me a window of hope. She can offer me renewed enthusiasm to wake up every morning and embrace her. The choice is obvious- marry me Vgin!

As i knelt down to my left and reaching out for the platinum ring, my parents stormed into the room and both exclaimed in coherence, "STOP THIS NONSENSE".

Me: Pa, Ma, shouldn't i be the one determining my own happiness?

Ma: You are too short sighted and ridden with emotions to make a wise decision, my son.

Me: I thought i explained myself clearly, Su Lan does not know any other pattern. And you know how artistic i am during my "performance". I have not been able to perform up to my usual high standard of thrice a day. But the thought of Vgin itself can make me shoot down the burung gagak in Bangsar.

Pa: I understand son, we both have seriously thought about it, and we are sure you've made the wrong choice and one day when you look back you'll thank us.

Me: You are not giving me a concrete reason! I can't see why this decision is wrong, to myself and also to the family. With me regaining to my former self i will have no problem planting the seed into Vgin for the continuity of this family. Isn't that your no.1 priority?

Ma: Yes, that's what we want. That's why we chose Su Lan for you...cause she got damn huge butt!!!

Pa: Somemore Su Lan can be part time maid for the family since she knows how to cook and wash. Smart leh, son.

I know the choice has been made for me. And i'm powerless to overturn their decision. They have their own agenda behind the decision which suits them best, but not for me. I disagree with their rationale, but had to accept it in the end.

An analogy of the corporate world. You can voice your preference, but they will decide what's best for you. Sigh.

Once a Tiger

The greatest era of Malaysian Football was undoubtedly during the late 70s where we qualified for the 1980 Olympics. I am not familiar the those names who graced the nation then but you can’t go wrong with Mokhtar Dahari and Arumugam. Those days, when we are the tiger, the Japanese would be a cat and the Viets might be a kuci-rat.

The roar is the 80's

Come the era of the 90s which I remembered most vividly as I was introduced to football by my brother back in 1991, the Semi-Pro league was bustling with stars. When Matlan Marjan scored a couple against the mighty Manchester United during their post season friendly tour, though the Malaysian selection lost 2-4, I was proud and there were hope for local football. We still could not qualify for Asia Cup or the Olympics not to mention the World Cup, but getting the gold medal in the 1989 SEA games at least assured us of respect in this region. We can give excuse that we’re not up there physically against the Iranians or Arabs. Otherwise we can also appear puzzled that we cannot match the diet of Koreans and Japanese which help increased their average over the past 20 years. Our nasi lemak and bak kut teh have not been proven for building muscles.
The 90's -skinner, but still fearsome

Nearly all the top stars were wiped out like a nuclear holocaust due the the major corruption breakthrough in the Semi-Pro league by late 90s. Heading into the new era of 2000, new players came into ranks. The result? ZERO major tournaments qualified; ZERO regional cups won. Now the tiger has been tamed, not just by the Arabs or east Asians, but even became a punching bag for the likes of Indonesia, Myanmar and Vietnam.

The last time we qualified for Asia Cup was back in 1980 This year we’re in cause we’re one of the co-host. First round results are in : Versus China we kena whack 1-5. Versus Uzbekistan we kena whack 0-5. Last match vs. Iran. Save me from the final score. Gone is the tiger, we're only a kitten now.

Malaysia football in this era.

He struck again

Been a while since I got a chance to lay my hands on a new victim. Either they’re too well protected or am seeing the same faces again. Though i still DO my repeat victims, but it has no glory to shout about.

My prayer was answered last Saturday. At first sight i i knew she's vulnerable. My thirst for fresh meat heightened my senses; My fear suppressed... Here we go again. Opportunity is when luck and preparation crosses path.

Face-distorter strikes again…

So cute… Hay Lee. CS' barely one-year old daughter. I think she got her father's personality and her mother's good looks.
